Welsh Lamb and Beef Promotions Ltd. (WLBP) is a cooperative owned by over 7200 Welsh farmers.

With its aim of promoting Welsh Lamb and Welsh Beef both at home and abroad, WLBP strives to strengthen consumer confidence by providing assurance of farm standards through the Farm Assured Welsh Livestock Beef and Lamb Scheme (FAWL).

Farms are assessed by Quality Welsh Food Certification Ltd. (QWFC), a body independently accredited by the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS) to strict European standards.

Certified farms are assessed by qualified inspectors to ensure that they conform with the FAWL protocol for beef and sheep farms.

All products bearing the Welsh Lamb and Welsh Beef logos and assured by FAWL provide the customer with an identifiable guarantee of farming standards.

Consumers can therefore be confident that by purchasing Welsh Beef and Welsh Lamb, they will be receiving farm assured meat one can always expect from the green green grass of Wales.
